A New Kind of Support Inside the School Walls

Our on-site chiropractic program helps teachers and students self-regulate, manage stress, and feel more present in class—especially those facing challenges like ADHD, IEPs, trauma, or emotional dysregulation.

What if support for kids’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being wasn’t something ‘extra’, but something already woven into the school day?

Too many kids come to school disconnected and struggling to focus.

And it’s likely not because they’re lazy or undisciplined. Most of the time, it’s because their nervous systems are overwhelmed.

Whether it’s due to trauma, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, or just the everyday stress of life, many students spend their school day stuck in fight-or-flight. And when that happens, learning becomes nearly impossible.

At the same time, teachers are doing everything they can with limited resources, and often feel burnt out, unsupported, and exhausted.

That’s exactly why Well-Adjusted Students exists.

We bring chiropractic care directly into schools, to help regulate the nervous system, calm the body, and support whole-person health from the inside out.

And because it’s built into the school day, it’s easy for students, parents, and teachers alike.

Here’s How It Works

Step 1: Partner With the School

It starts with a conversation. We meet with school administrators or support staff to share how on-site chiropractic care can help improve student regulation, focus, and overall school culture.

Step 2: We Handle the Logistics

Once a school is on board, we take care of the setup, handling permissions, communication with families, scheduling, and coordination with staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Step 3: Care Happens On-Site

Our licensed chiropractors come into the school during regular hours to provide gentle, nervous-system-focused care to students, teachers, and staff. We make sure it’s simple, consistent, and seamlessly integrated into the school routine.

Step 4: Built-In Support That Adapts

We stay in close communication with school teams and adjust care based on what’s working. Our role is to support the school community in ways that feel sustainable and helpful.

Step 5: Students, Teachers, and Staff Feel & See the Results

We track measurable progress like changes in behavior, emotional regulation, and focus. Our goal is to have calmer classrooms, happier kids, and teachers who feel more supported.

Testimonials

  • “Chiropractic helps with behavior, confidence, even bedwetting. Families were excited and told other parents. It’s become one of the best things we’ve implemented.”

    — Sara Denure,
    Elementary Principal

  • “When they don’t get adjusted, we notice it. One child even asked for an adjustment when feeling anxious because he knew it helped him. It’s been incredible to witness the change.”

    — Tarin Rud,
    Special Education Educator

  • “We see physical complaints that are really about stress or emotions. Chiropractic supports both the body and mind. It’s short, fits into the school day, and doesn’t disrupt learning.”

FAQs

We know this is a new kind of care model for many schools and families.

Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often.

  • The biggest difference is access. Many students, especially those from lower-income families, may not be able to receive consistent chiropractic care outside of school. By offering it during the school day, we remove barriers like time, transportation, and cost. It’s simple, accessible, and one less thing parents have to squeeze into an already busy schedule.

  • All of our chiropractors are licensed and trained in school-based Chiropractic training with InnatelyUschoolTM, with additional experience in school-based and pediatric settings. Many also hold advanced continuing education and certifications in pediatric education and techniques.

  • Not at all. Most visits take 5–10 minutes and are built into natural breaks in their school day, so it’s not an interruption for the teachers or students. In fact, many teachers say their students come back from care more regulated, focused, and ready to learn.

  • Each school may vary slightly, but we primarily serve students who would benefit most from regular nervous system support—kids with IEPs, ADHD, anxiety, sensory challenges, or emotional regulation needs. Teachers and staff are also offered care on-site.

That said, care is open to anyone in the school community, provided we have permission from their legal guardian. Consent forms are sent home in advance and must be signed before a child can begin care.

  • Yes, for now, care is typically billed through the family’s insurance or paid out of pocket. We do accept ForwardHealth, as we know lower-income families often have the greatest need for school-based services.

That said, one of our nonprofits’ main goals is to grow our sponsorship fund, so we can offer care at no cost to students and teachers whose families can't afford it or whose insurance doesn’t cover it. We believe all children deserve access to this kind of support, no matter their circumstances.
